For some reason ADI-2/4 Pro SE gets less warm than ADI-2 Pro.
I have both units standing with free air all around.

They feel quite warm, but not hot these days at 18 °C room temperature.

If you don’t experience any “Overload /Short detected”–warning screen, don’t worry.
12 W idle power dissipation has to go somewhere.

Why? The energy consumption is caused/happens at the device.
