Topic: Hello everybody. I have problem with my Fireface USB settings.

When I install the drivers on my card from CD disk, which was included, then in the panel, in the Gain section, all three fields are displayed - level, microphone inputs, instrument/ Line inputs. When I install the last drivers from the www.rme-audio.de, then I only have a level section. Two others have no others. And as a result, I can’t turn on 48V and it doesn't work right for me DIGICheck.

Maybe the fact is that in addition to the last drivers, you need to put something else? Or are the drivers on the site incorrect?

Re: Hello everybody. I have problem with my Fireface USB settings.

Usually the drivers on installation CDs are outdated and drivers from the website are the correct ones to use.
May you be so kind to let us know :
Windows or Mac computer ?
What interface ?
And if possible what firmware version is in that interface ?

M1-Sonoma, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

It's about the sound card FireFace UC. And i installed https://rme-audio.de/downloads/driver_usb_win_1227.zip

Driver version 1.168
Hardware Revision 126

Re: Hello everybody. I have problem with my Fireface USB settings.

Firmware is uptodate and you have the correct driver.

you are speaking of the Fireface settings dialog but then you say you can't switch on phantom power.
Phantom power is in Totalmix Hardware input channel, not in the settings-dialog.

Is Totalmix working ?

Apparently we do not quite understand each other or I am not so expressed. I'm talking about the following:

When I tired of the driver from the disk, when you press the fireface label, I have an firedace usb settings panel. And in it in the Gain tab there are three sections. The second of them is a "Microphone inputs" and in it i can put 48V, after which indication bulbs will light up on the sound card.

When I set the last drivers from the site, then in the Gain section there is only a "Level" subsection and, as a result, I cannot fall in love with 48 volts.

Maybe the ability to turn on 48V somewhere transferred  or changed the principle of relarming 48V?
Or subdivisions of the "Microphone inputs" and "Instruments/Line inputs" were transferred somewhere and now they need to be turned on in another place.

The 48V switch is exactly there where waedi said it is.

But there I have nothing to do with "Microphone inputs". There are sections  "File", "Function" , "Options" , "Windows", "Help".

In the "Function" section there is "Mixer view" and "Matrix".

In the "Options" section there is Deactivate Screensaver, Always on Top, Enable MIDI /OSC Control, Submix linked to MIDI / OSC controller, Preferences, Settings,Channel Layout, ARC & Key Commands, Reset Mix  and other.

Where can I turn on 48 volts?

I have RME TotalMix FX: FireFace UC (1) - 44.1K.
