Topic: Babyface Pro FS "A SET" Button

I just purchased a B Stock Babyface Pro FS and the "A SET" button doesn't do anything. The manual says it only works in stand alone mode. Is this normal? And how do you access stand alone mode? I can still engage Phantom power from Total Mix.

Also, I can't access the channel balance by holding the SELECT button and turning the wheel. It only adjusts the gain.

TotalMix FX, Options, ARC & Key Commands. Opens a window to configure the computer’s keyboard keys F4 to F8, the ARC USB buttons, and the buttons A, B, OUT, SET and DIM of the Babyface Pro.
