I made a post about this in another topic, but with no luck yet. Apologies if this is considered like a double post.

I have a fireface UCX that shows flashing lights (all lights on except the "sig" ones that blink) when it´s conected via USB, and Windows doesn´t recognize it anywhere. The moment I unplug the usb cable, those lights cease and I´m able to navigate trough the ucx menu via the rotary knob.

Drivers and firmware already installed, of course. I also did try in different usb ports and into another computer with the same luck.

The previous owner says it worked fine with the same adapter and usb cable.
