Hello, on the "Fireface UFX" tab how to extend the USB3 cable fto 5 meters without having problems?
I am using a Startech 30 ft (10m) active cable successfully with a UFX+ available from Amazon in Canada.

Thanks, i try this usb3 cable and update this post
The cable (Startech 30 ft (10m) active cable) has been tested for 77 minutes without any errors. Thank you for the tip

If you are on a desktop pc, the USB3 connection on the motherboard can be another point to check. Search this forum for "Sonnet". @Ramses reports an older Sonnet PCIe card works well, but I think is no longer available. I am using a newer "Allegro Pro Type A USB 3.2 PCIe USB3-PRO-4P10-E" which is working well for me.

Only the old Allegro Pro with 4x FL1100 (USB3 controller per port) is not available anymore.

This card was expensive (€150), but good (because I had 2x UFX+ and ADI-2 Pro connected at the time),
it needed a PCIe 2.0 x4 socket on the motherboard.
But the other Sonnet 4-port card (without Pro in the name) with one FL1100 chip
"USB3-4PM-E - Allegro Type-A USB 3.2 PCIe 4-Port" is still available:

Simply connect the UFX+ to it and don't use the other 3 which would also use / share the one USB3 controller, which you should avoid if you want to isolate the UFX+ behind the FL1100 USB3 controller.
As MC mentioned in the other thread some newer ASMedia chips might not have the issues of older chip generations.
In a good case of luck you could also use a recent ASMedia based USB3 chip.
I have an ASMedia PCIe card with ASMedia ASM2142 USB3 controller for connecting USB3 backup disks.
When I plugged the UFX+ to it, there were also no issues and the card ran well using a driver with MSI (message signalled interrupts) as well as the Sonnet card. Needs a 4x PCIe 3.0 socket on mainboard.

Also supports UASP (USB attached SCSI protocol like the extension cases from Startech).
