Topic: Digicheck RME ADI-2 2/4

Hi Guys, just curious, does the Digicheck application run on CPU power or does it use the DSP power of the RME ADI-2 2/4 Pro? And why aren't there more reviews or video's on the ADI-2 2/4 Pro? Love to have some more review intel on this unit.

Re: Digicheck RME ADI-2 2/4

Digicheck runs on host’s CPU, using a negligible amount of CPU power.

What special informations are you looking for?

IMO the multitude of little improvements on ADI-2/4 Pro SE over ADI-2 Pro makes it clearly the first choice if you want to run it as the central unit of a studio.
On the other hand, if one is on a tight budget, ADI-2 Pro does serve well too, for the same purpose.

I have both, and sound-wise we are in a quality range where it’s hard to determine any difference, if exist.

Both are simply true to the source, an important factor for a studio reference.
Else mixes done, listening through it, would not translate well to the outside world.
