Topic: Flash Tool does not execute update

Hi

I have a Fireface UC. Performing a clean install of all drivers on a new M1 MacBook Pro.

The tool recognises the device and its firmware revision (123). I mark the device "USB", press update, and nothing happens.

The device is in Apple mode.

May I kindly ask for your help?

Thanks. I am concerned about this solution. Apple describes allowing adding Kernel Extensions by 3rd parties as reduced security. Is there another way?

Don't panic !
Apple is concerned of people using devices from other companies.
I would not be surprised if Apple brings out audio interfaces.
The installation of the RME drivers is explained in the readme and users should trust. It's trustworthy and it works fine.

I'm having this problem as well. Flash Tool is not responsive and does not update.

I've tried numerous downloads and followed the instructions in this post; nothing works.

Is there something else I can do? My UFX currently cannot be recognized on two separate M1 Macs.

Install old driver 328B2 in one Mac, perform FUT, after success upgrade the driver to 409
