Topic: WaveLab and Digiface USB on Mac doesn't work

I feel like I'm getting crazy...
I have a Mac Studio with a DigiFace USB connected. I do most of my stuff in Logic and everything works nicely. However I have to produce and master a surround dvd audio. For this I wanted to use Steinberg WaveLab. WaveLab Pro 11 starts and works with the internal sound card without any issues. But when I select the Digiface as the audio interface. WaveLab doesn't do anything play any music at all anymore.
Do you have an idea?
