Topic: Output levels mismatch - Babyface Pro FS

Hi friends,

Just bought Babyface Pro FS to replace my motu for live sets. While checking two interfaces out to see how they sound together I noticed significant difference in volume.

So here the config:

1. Babyface Pro FS set to +4 dBu and level set to 0.0
2. Motu level set to 0.0 (manual says outputs plays +4 dBu)

The output on the Motu is significantly louder. Any idea what is going on here?

Obviously the Motu's output level is not +4 dBu but higher, typically +20 to +24 dBu. You will find this spec in their documentation. Set the BF to +19 dBu and they will be more similar.
