Topic: counter-rotating faders - aka reverse fader group (or pair)

I want to fade in a SW playback channel and at the same time fade out another SW playback channel, but have not found a way to achieve that. Is that possible? If not -- that would be a wish.

Usually, you do such things in a DAW, or do you talk about a life setup?

Yes, that would be for life-use (live-streaming) indeed.

Crossfades are not considered a feature for TM FX.

Re: counter-rotating faders - aka reverse fader group (or pair)

Thanks for the answer. When somebody has an idea for a SW solution I welcome any pointers.

EDIT: I think there could be three ways to achieve a crossfade w/wo Totalmix.

1) Find a S/W midi solution which offers crossfade
2) Use a DJ mixing software
3) Program an own solution via OSC commands sent to Totalmix
4) ....(any ideas)?

Likely 2 - DJ mixing S/W is the most flexible and easy to use. If someone has a suggestion for a free solution for Windows that would be great.
