Topic: Raydat and FF800 on same machine?

Hi there,
I was looking for some ADAT solutions to expand my system, and it seems its cheaper to buy a second hand FF800 with all the quality and options that brings, rather than a pure ADAT converter.

I'm also looking to get a Raydat via a Sonnet SE1 Express for my MacBook M1, and was wondering if both can co-exist on the same system?

Yes...

Amazing, thank you. You are literally the only developer I know who supports their stuff for years, it's really admirable.
Right, better get that FF800 soon then:)
I've had many RME interfaces over the years (FF800, FF400, HDSP PCI cards etc), they never failed me.
Stupidly sold my previous FF800 for an Apollo, which sounds nice, but feature and driver wise is nowhere near RME quality.
Looking forward to being back in the fold:)

Keep up the great work, best, Joe

Please mind that Apple may drop support for Firewire in the foreseeable future. This may not be the most future-proof option...

Thanks for the heads up. I'm also planning to buy a Sonnet SE1 with Raydat, so hopefully that will be a bit more futureproof smile
