Topic: Fireface 802 Failure

In first switch-on ( only power cord connected)  all 8 led indicators in front panel near sockets constantly lit green and do not turn off. After connecting to Imac, unit recognized,  TotalMix is  workable. 8 leds continuе lit green. Is anybody can advice?

Hi
To avoid misunderstandings: you are talking about the LEDs for signal and 48V?
If so, the obvious questions are:
- is phantom power activated on all the four mic inputs? Or is the instrument input selected?
- is something connected to this inputs or is the input gain cranked up (also without something connected)?

Dear oli77sch,
1. LED indicators, what I mean is sig and  48v/inst  LEDs near  all four Mic/Line sockets.
2. In TotalMix I can switch on/off  Inst and Phantom +48v but no reaction on LEDs.
3. Gain knobs can be min or max. No reaction on LEDs.
4. TRS can be inserted or not, no reaction on LEDs. 
LEDs continuosly lit bright green.

If the LEDs don't react, something seems to be defective.
Do the preamps work? Does the input noise level change with gain? Does phantom power work?

Preamps works. I have only synths in my setup, so cannot check phantom +48. But  gain can be adjusted, noise increase in accordance to gain, so preamps looks to be workable. No additional noise or something.
