Topic: USB Series Flash tool not updating firmware

I have a UCX and I want to make it work on a new computer. Intel chip on Ventura 13.1.
I download RME USB Series Flash tool to update the firmware and use the latest drivers. The program downloads and opens but does nothing when pressing "UPDATE".
It recognizes my UCX as it shows have the previous firmware 48 and it shows it needs the new one 49 as well as the serial number appears.
Needless to say, Total Mix does not see the unit
Any idea how to update the firmware /make the flash tool work?

From the driver readme:

1. Firmware version for DriverKit
Attention: Fireface UFX / UCX / UC / 802 and Babyface require a firmware update to versions UFX: 361, UCX: 49, UC: 127, 802 : 17 (111), Babyface: 226 to enable the use of this DriverKit driver.

While the firmware update tool would run on M1/2 machines, it needs a working driver. But the driver is not loaded if the firmware is not updated. So the interface firmware must be updated first, using a computer that runs the Kernel Extension driver, or a Windows computer.

Hello,

I have the same problem.
MacBook Air M1 Ventura 13.3  Fireface UCX
I updated the firmware in a different computer (10.13.6 High Sierra) with the flashtool but it only updated to V48.
