Topic: How to uninstall macOS DriverKit Driver

I recently installed macOS 11/12 USB series DriverKit driver, v. 4.08 (2).

How do I remove the driver from my computer? The user manual of my UCX II has a chapter with de-install instructions, but it seem to only refer to the kernel extension driver.

The zip folder with the driver has a readme text file, from there :
As an alternative, in case the above method unexpectedly does not work, RME also made a version of the 3.27 driver available that should reliably remove the DriverKit extension during its installation. Download here:

Before talking about the alternative first use the standard way - which is a few sentences before the quoted part.

Nein, der Sachverhalt ist kompliziert und das Lesen des Liesmich daher notwendig (welches sowieso immer gelesen werden sollte).

I think I need to uninstall the Driver Kit. I tried to install USB 335 from 333 and I am getting a message.
It reads:

RME USB Driver Kit extension detected
Please re-run Installer Package FireFaceUSB 335.

My audio seems to work though so not sure why this message is happening?
