Now that the new 802 FS supports all channels in class compliant mode as well as UFX III, is there a possible update for the old 802 and UFX (UFX +) series devices. Which would enable the use of all channels in CC mode. Or at least both ADAT buses.
Sorry, no. This change was made possible by the new, more powerful FPGAs used in these newer versions.
So does ufx+ class compliant mode use usb2 speed? Or is it limited in some other way, such as by means of circuit design, in which case you cannot programmatically increase the number of channels in class compliant mode. On the other hand, would it be theoretically possible to make a firmware just for class compliant use, with the full number of channels?
It uses USB 2, and we will not make a firmware that only supports one mode.
