Topic: Expose all channels to DirectSound?

Hi,
Is it possible to expose more than just the first pair of output channels to Windows Directsound?
I believe Focusrite has a setting, something along the lines of "Show/Hide Windows Channels" to make all outputs available - is there an equivalent for RME?

Thanks for your time

PS - Specifically for Digiface USB and Babyface, and yes I know it is preferable to use ASIO and I normally do, this is just for a particular use case that must use native Windows audio output.

I use the Babyface Pro FS, and the "FireFace USB Settings" dialogue, which can be accessed from the task bar, has a setting to adjust "number of WDM devices." Set it to 6 and you have all the physical channels accessible to Windows. That's how I do it. Hope this helps!

+1!

And for the Digiface Usb, you should click on the 'Configure...' button, under the "WDM Devices" section.
Then you can select which I/O you want to be available for Windows!

RME Gear: Digiface USB, HDSP 9632

Perfect, that was exactly what I needed.

Thank you both!
