Topic: Can't See Microphone on OBS

Hello I am using Babyface, and using AN1/2 Output for microphone, I used to see my Microphone signal on OBS, but somehow, I can't get it work on OBS anymore, or I forgot how I did it before...

Do you guys know, how I can have a separate channel on OBS just for my AN1/2 microphone on a Mac?

There is sound signal on Hardware Input, Hardware Output for AN1/2 however, no signal on Software Playback AN1/2

Thanks.

Re: Can't See Microphone on OBS

In MacOS system preferences Audio input device - is RME select ?
In MacOS system preferences Security and Privacy Microphone - is OBS enabled for access the microphone ?
Then OBS should receive Hardware input channels 1/2 (and only those) without further a do.

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

I guess you mean AN1/2 input for the mic?

On software playback, the signals coming from the software are appearing, not the signals going to the software.

Thank you for the responses.

Yes you are right. oli77sch. I thought it had something to do with Software Playback, but it doesn't.

I don't know how My OBS can see AN1/2 channel. I created a Audio input capture, and there are only few things to select there.

Default
Background Music
Background Music (UI Sounds)
BlackHole 2ch
MacBook Pro Microphone
GroundControl 16ch
GroundControl 2ch
GroundControl 64ch
Caster Stream A
Caster Stream B
Speaker Audio Recorder
Babyface

I don't get to see AN1/2 there for some reason...

Re: Can't See Microphone on OBS

Oh, I fixed it by the Software I had hidden somewhere, called Ladiocast. It's the way I can route my Interface to Multi-Output or Groundcontrol 64, Groundcontrol 16, Groundcontrol 2, Whatever channel I want to...

Thanks, for your help!

I think if you select the Babyface from the list, it would automatically take the first two channels (AN1/2) as inputs.
