Topic: Stereo Submix Outputs waste CC Selection Commands?

I have a lot of Submix outputs which I'd like to trigger via an external controller. Problem is there is a limit from Chan13 CC 104 to Chan 16 CC 117.

I have a handful of stereo outputs that don't need to the "right" channel select CC. For example, analog output 3/4 is using Chan13 CC 104 and 105. But I don't need 105 there, as selecting 104 selects both (when stereo coupled).

If I separate a stereo pair, then hide the "right" channel with the Channel Layout checkbox for the midi controller. This gives me the additional CC to use... BUT it appears to defeat that "hiding" of the right channel when I make it stereo again.

Is it needed to be able to select the right channel of a stereo pair via CC?

Is there anyway for me to not waste CC slots on channels the right channel of a stereo pair?

Bump...

Every submix/output stereo pair is using two CCs for selection when only one is needed.

Is there any way to "hide" the right channel of a stereo pair from the MIDI controller selecting it (via the channel layout menu)?

If it's not possible now, can this be implemented as a feature request?

Yes, by pushing the Stereo button because you are in the same "layout".

You can realize it via snapshots (and in combination of layout presets)

Look at my screenrecord...
