Topic: fireface 800 in old Macbook with the Big Sur install unsupported

Hello everyone, I have a macbook 2012 and I installed Big Sur through a "Github" Patching, because my mac does not support update MacOSX anymore.
Everything worked way better than Catalina, I also did all the permission reset procedures like as the video from RME shows, but it didn't work!
My question: if I buy a Thunderbolt to firewire adapter will it work??
Cheers

Re: fireface 800 in old Macbook with the Big Sur install unsupported

if your Macbook has Thunderbolt sockets (2012 is good for this) then there is a good chance for getting it working with this adapter, but no guarantee. Buy from a store where you can send back if fail.

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

What exactly 'does not work'?
Before buying adapters and stuff it maybe would be worth to check some things…?

UCX - FF 400 - Babyface pro - Digiface USB - ADI-2 (original)
Mac mini M1 - Macbook pro - iPad Air2
