Topic: Fireface UFX III - Negative CV output?

Can anyone advise if it is possible (or advisable) to get a bipolar CV output from the Fireface UFX III?  For example for an LFO centred at 0 volts but sweeping +/- 2 (or more volts).

The manual seems to suggest not.  On page 44 it mentions a range of 0-5v and also "negative output voltages should be avoided".

And it is clearly explained why. If you are sure that your CV input handles negative voltages then simply do it - it is not limited in the RME hardware, will swing both ways.

Great.  Can you advise the +/- range in volts?  i.e. +/-5v or less?

Looking to replace my UFX II with the III for the modular interface possibilities.

Thanks
