Topic: UFX II Snapshots (tmss) won't load in Total Mix with UFX III connected

My Fireface UFX II just had a power supply failure and I had to buy a UFX III as a replacement. I run my entire studio monitoring options off of recallable snapshots -- all of which were saved using the former UFX II interface. I spent hours setting that up but now when I try to open those same .tmss snapshots in Total Mix with the new UFX III connected, NONE of them will load. I get an error that says "Mismatch detected - Snapshot File contains no data for the connected Device."

QUESTIONS:
Is there anyway to edit these snapshot files to support the UFX III connection?

Is there anyway to update the tmss snapshot files to be read by the UFX III interface?

Please help!

Not sure that is possible (as the UFX III has tons more mixer knots and channels), but we'll check.

It turned out that under the hood both units use a different mixer design which makes those snapshots incompatible. So it needs a special converter feature in TM FX, but this will not be added quickly (if at all).
