Topic: more inputs for my UFX+ via ADAT: cheap RME solutions?

I need to add 8 analog inputs to my UFX+ and was considering one of the following solutions, where I would use the additional card just as an A/D-D/A converter, connected to the UFX+ via ADAT cable.
The are what look like the cheapest available solutions in the second hand market:
-Multiface
-ADI 8 DS
-ADI 8 PRO
Is there any recommendation/advice to consider?
Thank you!

The Multiface does not work as a standalone AD/DA in the way you would expect. Any of the ADI-8 models would be a good choice.

Just another question, which converters would you prioritize in use (better response) between the UFX and the ADI-8?

Better response? I don't know what you mean .... converter latency or what?

The UFX+ converter channels should be preferred over all ADI-8 models, except possibly ADI-8 QS or ADI-8 DS mkIII.
