Topic: [Solved] Using all 4 outputs on ADI-2/4 Pro SE

I am running my ADI 2/4 in Reaper, but can only get two of my outputs to display using ASIO Madiface USB. How can I route separate program material to 2 of my outputs, while monitoring the processed signal (using hardware equipment) on a different two outputs?

By setting the unit into Multi-channel mode...

I am in multichannel mode and it shows that I have 2 available inputs and 4 available outputs. I can not get a signal to be sent from my line output 1/2, but I can get a signal sent from PH 3/4.

How can I access this feature? Do I essentially need another D.A.C.?

Absolutely no!

Have a look at manual page 39ff, “Modes”:

The USB-Modes “Class Compliant Multi-channel mode“ (page 43), or “Class Compliant Stereo Mode” combined with “multi-channel mode” (page 42, are examples where you can select USB channel 3/4 for playback on ADI-2 output 3/4.

Look at the block diagrams, they show the routing options for each “Mode”.

Might need to set:
I/O / Phones Out 3/4 / Settings / Source: “USB 3/4.

Disable Mute via TRS 3/4 or a plugged phones will mute Line Out 1/2.
