Topic: FF800 Settings not remembered

Hello I am using an FF800 on a PC windows 11. Previously I used all inputs in the rear but now I'd like to have input 7 be in front and back. In the fireface settings, I change Input 7 to front+back and everything works as expected, until I shutdown. The next time I boot up my computer the Input 7 reverts to just the back.

How do I make this settings change and have it stay?

Could you try switching off the FF800 first, then after a few seconds, restart the PC? That should help the state file be written correctly, if this is just caused by Windows "fast shutdown".

I just tried this but it did not solve the issue. The input again reverted to just the back of the unit. Any other suggestions?

There is a box in Fireface Settings, Lock Registry. Is that box checked?

And even when unchecked - reset it by checking and unchecking.
