Topic: Intermittent issues: UFX II with Pro Tools 12 on Windows 10

I've had this interface for a couple years, and I am intermittently getting the following error in Pro Tools (mostly during playback):

Pro Tools could not initialize the ASIO MADIface USB.  Please make sure that the device has been configured correctly.

There is no issue with communication between the PC and interface.  If I open Total Mix FX, it shows everything as it was on the interface.

If I save the session and restart Pro Tools, it will work again.

I haven't been able to identify a particular operation that leads to the error.  Most days there is no issue.

Are there any particular driver settings that may help remedy this? I've left all at the defaults since installation.

There is no special driver setting. If you do not have this problem with any other software, please consult Avid.
