Topic: Fireface 400 M2 Mac Mini midi ports no longer showing

Hi All,

I recently purchased a M2 Mac mini and all adapters to connect my Fireface 400. I got everything to work for a while until today my MIDI ports are no longer showing up in Ableton. I fear it has to do with an automatic OSX update that happened overnight. I'm using Ventura 13.5.1. I tried re-installing the driver_fw_mac_341.zip but that didn't help.

Anyone a solution?

How is the application Audio-Midi-Setup ?
What's in there ? Is a generic Midi device present ?

Thank you for your reply.

Without changing anything, this morning all MIDI ports were available again and no problem at all connecting a Dave Smith OB6 (RME midi out - OB6 midi in) via an external instrument. 

I can't explain it really and I just hope this was a one-time thing.
