Hello, so from Cubase 12, is there a way to,

original: stereo piano track

Send as mid (mono) + side (mono)
to 'stereo' hardware compressor

*Process it as mid/side (though the unit does not support mid/side processing)

then record it back as mid/side and perhaps combine them inside Cubase?

I am looking for this method because I have hardware compressor that has a little stereo drifting issue.

or! would I be better to purchase proper M/S receiver/sender from stereo inputs....?

I always see ms processing button on UFX ii totalmix but, finally I am asking this!

Is it just for monitoring purpose (ms)?

I have searched about this topic on this forum but could not quiet find the thread so I am posting a new one about this (or maybe my brain could not understand even after reading it....ha)
