Topic: Adi 2 fs pro as Master clock with a fireface 802 and pulse 16

Hello everyone,

I am new here.

I have a fiireface 802 clocked to a ferrofish pulse 16 i. Adat.
I would like to purchase a Adi 2 fs pro.

My question is :

How can i clock the Adi 2 fs as Master clock to the fireface 802 and the pulse 16.
I mean i have only Aes/ ebu connectors left.
If i use the aes connectors to clock the fireface 802 will the pulse 16  be clocked to ?

Or is there an other way to have the fireface 802 and the pulse 16 clocked as slave to the adi 2 fs pro ?

Yes the Pulse 16 will keep in sync.
Not sure about the possibilities of the Pulse, I would let it be this way.
Everyone of this three units can be clock-master, the RMEs use Steady-clock technology, it doesn't matter wich way the Sync is built-up, you are safe with the RMEs.
