Topic: Nicely done RME

Just have to show some appreciation for the new ADI-2 Remote app.  This probably isn't giving the enhanced experience justice, but this app transforms the ADI-2 at least as much as Jesus transformed Religion(Christianity).

Before the app, my every day usage was, working with an outstanding but very difficult to use piece of equipment, that had features that were honestly just too difficult to experiment with to actually use.

Now I've been able to experiment with crossfeed, width, filters, polarity, and I am finally using the EQ's again(after having to reset all my EQ's on a firmware upgrade).

I've always used loudness and B/T, but now I'm dialing them in a lot more.

Thank you for getting this out, it's truly opened up the full potential of the unit for me, as well as made making changes on the fly enjoyable, and not a chore.

Pro tip for anyone who didn't know, DigiCheck gives you a spectrogram.  So you can analyze your frequency spectrum and EQ on your monitor in side by side windows.   Putting a tailored EQ curve on the line in, really gave my vocals a nice boost and removed a lot of EQing on the DAW side.

Also, for anyone that isn't using this with an interface and potentially struggling with latency on windows.  This unit pairs amazingly well with an HDSPe card.  I got a Raydat, but the AIO offers the same capabilities with more options.

I recently added a pair of HS8's, so I am officially running end to end reference grade equipment. I highly recommend it.

Thanx for your appreciation, even thought I do think ADI-2 Remote won’t leave such a huge footprint in human’s history as JC did smile

Sidenote:
Firmware update never asks for or does delete user presets or EQ.
Only a full factory reset would do this.

Now, with the Remote App, additionally presets and EQs can be saved externally too, even transferred to other ADI-2’s.
