Topic: ARC Remote on UCXII USB port when in class compliant mode?

hi all

i'm considering buying an arc remote. i checked the manual to see if i can plug the arc remote into the back of the ucxii.

the manual says:
"Connector for USB stick or USB hard drive. Offers direct recording to / play- back from the external memory device. Alternatively connector for the optional Advanced Remote Control USB (ARC USB) when the UCX II is used in stand-alone and Class Compliant mode. This port can also be used instead of connecting the ARC USB to the computer."

can you use the durec usb port on the back of the ucxii to connect the arc when also connecting the ucxii to a mac with the ucxii osx driver.

Yes, you can. But then you cannot use DuRec anymore.
