Topic: [Solved] MIDI-Device does not show up in Ableton: FF400/M1 Monterey

Hello!
Although i looked thoroughly, i hope this hasn't been posted before!

I'm running my FireFace400 (Drivers versions 3.41, 1.71) via the 2 fitting Firewire-to-USB-C-adapters on my M1 MacBookPro (with macOS 12.5 Monterey) and I'm using the latest Ableton version (11.3.12).

In Ableton, the Fireface shows up and works perfectly playing and recording audio.
Unfortunately, the FireFace does not show up as a MIDI device, neither in Ableton nor in macOS "Audio MIDI Setup"-App.

Any suggestions / ideas / workarounds?

Thank you in advance!
Alan

What other midi device is there ?
Is a generic midi device there to choose ? Select it.
Use also Midi-monitor for checking midi transfer in the OS :

Thank you, @waedi,
there is no MIDI-device displayed at all, neither in Ableton nor in the macOS Audio/MiDI-App.
MIDI-Input is visible on the Interface, but the "software-part" seems to be not working...

In Audio MIDI Setup, MIDI Window, perform a rescan.
