Topic: RME M-16 vs M-32

Not a pro by any means and though this question seems rather obvious, I’m going to ask anyway. The M-16 AD has 16 physical input channels and unless I’m missing something here, 8 channels if you’re using stereo, correct? And if I wanted an expansion unit with 16 stereo channels, I would have to upgrade to the M-32 AD which has 32 physical channels?

Another little difference that I remember: M-32 has internal blower, M-16 not.
