Topic: Babyface Pro breakout cable issue - how many pins?

Hi all. First post here. I’ve had my Babyface for a while now but haven’t needed to use the breakout cable until I got a few other pieces of gear. However now that I’m using it, I can only get MIDI in but not out.

I had a look at the mini din and it looks like there are 5 pins and one pin seems as if it might’ve broken off. However, I can’t find any details of the pin count on the cable so I can’t be sure. Can anyone who has one of these please confirm how many pins the breakout cable it’s supposed to have?

Becasue the BF has only one MIDI I/O. And it's all in the manual.

Thanks Matthais. Then my cable is indeed broken. I will have to get another one.
