Topic: How to assign ARC USB fader wheel?

The fader wheel on my ARC has suddenly begun controlling phones 2 volume; I would like to switch it back to controlling main output.

I am unable to find info in the ARC manual or online explaining how to do this.

How is Totalmix looking ?
To what output is Main-Out Assigned ?
May you have to reassign the main-out to the speakers and the phones to the headphone output ?

Sorry if I'm being Captain Obvious here, but is this button lit up?

Happens to me sometimes, I turn the dial and the volume is not changing because I forgot to switch off vol ph1/2...

If that's not it, look at your ARC settings here:

Which is accessed from the "Options" drop-down menu.

Thank you, Zephonic.  I can't see your pics, or even copy the http addresses in your post, BUT- from reading what you wrote, I came to understand there is a dedicated button on the ARC. So, mine was a "captain obvious" question, indeed.

Until one considers the ARC USB manual offers no diagram, and no explanation of any of the buttons. There are countless examples of this sort of (arrogant?) boneheadedness from RME.

End of rant.
