Topic: Babyface Pro FS Toslink output to RCA

My Neumann KH150 speakers have RCA SPDIF inputs. How do I connect my Babyface Pro FS optical output to the speakers? I know that the optical output needs to be changed from ADAT to SPDIF in the USB settings, apart from that is there a cable that has Toslink one end and RCA the other? Or do I need to buy a converter to do this?

I know this is not strictly only related to the BF but thought somebody here may be able to assist. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello Fresheyes

Yes you have to use a converter for this

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

Re: Babyface Pro FS Toslink output to RCA

Thanks waedi. Do you know if these converters introduce any noticeable latency?

Re: Babyface Pro FS Toslink output to RCA

They don't make noticeable latency there is no software involved.

Re: Babyface Pro FS Toslink output to RCA

I have one of these Lindy adapters. It works absolutely well, no issues at all!

UCX - FF 400 - Babyface pro - Digiface USB - ADI-2 (original)
Mac mini M1 - Macbook pro - iPad Air2
