Topic: [SOLVED] A few questions

Can I use the original BabyFace's volume "jog" wheel to control another TotalMix Master Output volume on the same computer?
(I have a RayDat card installed and want to use the BF to control the RayDat's volume)

Can I use the original BabyFace's volume "jog" wheel to control it's Gain dial on input Ch 1 / Ch 2 ?

If no, why not ?

As it is, it can't even control the input volume, only phones and master out on the BF TM.

By the way, I am not looking for philosophical or hypothetical answers, but hopefully someone from RME has specific knowledge on this topic, as it would only make sense to have be able to fully utilize the onboard hardware controls for the available parameters in TotalMix I am wanting to know if it's an oversight by the devs/programmers, not technically possible (again, if so, why?)

Also, does any of the above work with the BF Pro or BF Pro FS  ?!

The BF jog wheel can not control other devices.

The BF jog wheel can control its analog input gain - manual page 7. I have no clue what you missed here.

It can, no idea why it wasn't working the other night, works like a charm.
