Topic: FF800 locks up after updating to Mac OS 12.7.1

When I was notified to update Monterey, I did so, and then the FF800 would have episodes where it would fail to pass audio. For example, I'd notice that YouTube videos would not play.

After cycling the power off and back on again, the FF800 would resume working.

So when I boot my M1 MBP, I just immediately quit TotalMix (because of another issue), then check to see if FF800 is working, and turn it off/on as needed.

Apple and my FF800 have a strained relationship these days.

FWIW, I did replace the power supply on the FF800 3 years ago.

FF800 freezes between powering down my MBP and booting back up. The workaround is painless, never power down my MBP, or turn off both computer and FF800.

TotalMix still must be quit right upon booting my MBP, or it will become unresponsive.

The FF800 is hanging on by a thread with my new computer.
