Topic: RME FireFace400 & OS Mojave

Hello !

I’m using my RME Fireface 400 on an Imac with OS High Sierra 10.13.6 and I want to upgrade to Mojave 10.14. Won’t that be a problem? Thank you for your answers. Nicolas

Hi
No, that’s not a problem at all. But I recommend you to check the firmware on the FF400 first. The update tool doesn’t work on newer macOS versions. Latest firmware dates from 2012 and is version 1.71, so possibly your FF400 is up to date anyway.
I also have a FF400 and it even works absolutely fine on a M1 Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma!

Thank you very much Oli. I have 3.27 version on Fireface Settings, and the 1.12 version on TotalMix FX, it seems to be good, don't you think?

These are the versions of the software apps on the Mac. There are newer ones available. The firmware is a different thing. I think the version number should show up somewhere in the Fireface settings app.
