Topic: Is the UFX III faster/more powerful than UFX II beyond channel amount?

Hi all, new member here!
I'm about to upgrade my old Fireface 400 to either UFX II or III.

I won't be needing the extra channel specs on the III, but I'm wondering whether the III will be superior to the II in terms of latency or DSP power for a halfway heavy hybrid setup in a DAW using plenty of plug-ins? Or is the USB 3 and the rest of the III specs solely superior regarding the extra channel count?

The current UFX II has the same analog section as the UFX III.
The only difference is USB2 vs USB3 because of the higher channel count (MADI) with the UFX III.
