Topic: BabyfaceProFS clicks when switching between Hi and Lo DAC levels

good day. i've already meantioned my problem

here's a link to previous post https://forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=36304

and good sir MC have answered me that my unit is still under warranty and i can swap it from my local distributor. but current political situation didn't allowed me to take advantage of postal delivery. so i just still using a buggy unit

i've determined the problem for sure - the problem is in switching between high and low output levels during the sound playback(not to be confused with xlr output level switching!). when the sound signal is crosses some certain loudness level two dac chips are switching each other and it makes clicks
i've identified it by combining two tone generators with a different level on a different frequencies and when i add some loud 20khz tone to my whole workflow clicks are gone

switching is happening at somewhere around -25dbFS@+19dbuXLRoutput
to prevent DR switching clicks i'm adding an -47.9dbfs(or louder) 20khz tone to my whole workflow (or to first 200hz test tone which is provokes clicks)

maybe i can use some more elegant solution to fix this problem instead of adding a background ultrasonic tone? maybe there is a possibility to simply switch to single DAC chipl even with a worse noise floor and DR?

i'm telling about this switching
