Topic: Can't record my device's audio?

Hi, I'm using my RME Fireface UCX II to record audio alongside OBS for recording my screen, and it’s been mostly been working fine. However, I’ve been having one serious issue, which is the fact that I can’t seem to record my device’s sound. I’ve selected my microphone as a source in OBS, which works fine. However, I tried to add a second audio source, I noticed only channels on my Fireface were coming up, and not any options for my PC's audio.

Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this so I can record my device audio?

Many thanks!

Recording is for input channels.
Your computer sound is on software playback channels.
To bring this to an input channel use Loopback function it does exactly this.
You have to route the computer signal to an unused output channel, let's say output adat 5/6, open that output channel with the wrenchtool button, click the Loopback button, in the recording software ( OBS ) select input channel 5/6, your computer signal is there and you can use it for recording.
