Topic: UFX II - Win 10 - Cubase 12 - OBS 30 ?

I'd like to record my tutorials in Cubase 12, showing how I work there, produce in Cubase, tracks, instruments, plugins, etc., (video - audio) using OBS software.

Does anyone here use the latest OBS 30, which has some changes, for recording their videos with Cubase or another DAW using UFX II or another RME interface? I did a loopback on ADAT 1/2 and checked in Cubase; it captures all audio from that output, so the RME works. But OBS doesn't record sound from the RME. I've checked all the RME audio input combinations in OBS, nothing works. Has anyone managed to solve this with the latest OBS 30?

There is a little video that shows how to set up Cubase, TotalMix FX, and OBS.
The video is unnarrated and moves rather quickly. Feel free to slow down playback and pause to see individual settings.
OBS version used is 27.x but I just checked with OBS 30.x and it works just the same.

The idea is to use Control Room in Cubase and a Cue Send for transmission to OBS. This way you can control whether you want to transmit all channels or e.g. all channels but a microphone channel.
TotalMix FX is used in DAW mode but that is not important, Full Mode works just the same.

In OBS you can have up to 6 individual audio channels. Make sure that your Cubase source is set to a channel (called "track" in OBS) that also is activated for recording in Settings -> Output -> Recording -> Recording Settings -> Audio Track.

Thank you very much for the help and the video. I did everything exactly as in the video, it's clear to me what needs to be done. But it doesn't work for me, OBS 30 doesn't see the signal.
How did you make it work on OBS 30 at your end? What settings are you using for RME and Cubase?
