Topic: Logic cant "See" HDSPe Madi Card after update

Hi
I did a flash update of mt HDSPe Madi Card yesterday. (to version 24)
Then updated the driver to 266.
First of all the HDSPe settings App 266 quits on launch.
I tried repeating the update process 5 times but the app always crashed.
Went back to version 255 which launches but the computer cant seem to use the card.
It shows up in its PCI slot in System profiler.
But Quicktime cant use it
or Itunes
and more importantly Logic 8.0.2

Mac OSX 10.5.6/Mac Pro 2 x Quad Core 2,8Ghz Intel Xeon/HDSPe MAdi Card/ IZ ADA

What could the problem be.

Just read an older post

"flash update tool 2.03 erased the serial number on my HDSPe?s bios"

Is this evidenced by XXXXXXXX in place of a serial no in the Flash Update Tool window?

If so I'm ****ed.

Sessions lining up and no audio card.

Any Ideas?
