Topic: Faulty Display

Can I assume that the vertical lines that are on the display mean that it is faulty and should be replaced? I've read that this used to be a simple DIY fix but now is more complicated. Can anyone tell me the best way to fix it?

I bought it second hand and it has been fine for two years, this is a recent development. There is no warranty or original invoice so all costs would be mine.

Advice welcome.

Re: Faulty Display

Thanks, but the only place that I have found online that sells the replacement display, says they are no longer available as 'RME has changed the type and size of their display and you will need a new front panel with hardware modifications'. Are there any other places in Germany where I could get one?

I also asked Thomann about a repair but they said no, as I do not have the original invoice.

Thanks

Re: Faulty Display

Ask RME / Syntax Audio AG directly for a repair.
