Topic: Random startups in 32khz

As the title states.
I have a M2 Mac Studio latest version of Sonoma, Babyface Pro FS with ADAT running to a FF800 standalone for the extra in/outs.
Every so often, not every time, the Babyface decides to output 32khz instead of my standard 48khz.

I generally do run the entire audio through the Babyface, mic and audio out, but not alerts.

Re: Random startups in 32khz

You may reveal the settings of both units ?
Clock-mode in the Babyface Pro FS settings and in the FF800 settings ?

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

Thanks both of you for replying, I took a while to respond because I noticed the FF800 Clock mode settings were set to Word Clock, figured I would set it to ADAT 1 since the Babyface is the master here and see if that helped. Just started up the setup and it's at 32khz again. Word Clock out is set to Single Speed, that shouldn't affect anything since it's set to Autosync?

Driver 4.10 Firmware 206

The Firewire 800 driver is 3.39.1 firmware 2.77

It immediately switches to 48khz when I set it in the Babyface FS.

Re: Random startups in 32khz

As your setup seems now correct the issue can not be explained. We will check if this can be improved in the driver. Until then simply reset the sample rate after boot if it reverts to 32 kHz.
