Topic: JL Cooper Fader Master Pro - Babyface Pro FS

Can I connect the JL Cooper FaderMaster Pro to my Babyface Pro FS to use the faders as MIDI CC controllers in my DAW?

of course, with Midi cable to the Midi ports.
Regarding the DAW, the Babyface has no influence on this, it is just the Midi-interface.
JL Cooper has to tell you wich DAW is compatible.

This is the user manual : https://www.jlcooper.com/_php/download_ … Manual.pdf
Unfortunately it has no word in it. I searched DAW, Cubase, Logic, Ableton.
For this price 1'000 Euro I expect some more, a few presets for the most popular DAWs is a minimum.

First of all, thank you for your answer @waedi yes, you're right, unfortunately, the user manual isn't kept up to date.
Fader Master Pro (MIDI Out) to Babyface Pro FS (MIDI In) is correct, right?
And do I need to make certain MIDI settings in TotalMix so that the MIDI data arrives in the DAW?

Yes that Midi cabling is right.

No, Midi is not part of Totalmix, Midi has it's own driver and works aside of Totalmix fully independent.
