Topic: Fireface UC one "weak channel"

Whenever I first start my interface (Fireface UC) for the day, the right channel is very weak or muted until raise the volume and the sound manages to "break through" and I also hear a little bit of static during this. This problem can reaccur after I've had it quiet for some time or used head phones.

Is it some weak connector or any other known issue?

To my knowledge it's not a known issue for the UC but it sounds similar to an issue often is on vintage analog gear, mixers where you have to open the gain a lot for haveing the microphone signal suddenly breaking thru.
This "breaking-thru" is often the case when capacitors in the input preamps or output stage are weak.
Repair is no problem there and I think your unit can become repaired easy by the RME service partners, if the issue is a case of this.
