Topic: ARC USB, more mute feature needed !

Hi,

I'm working in Atmos 7.1.2 with my UFX2 and everything works great for volume, mute, dim and calibrated levels recall

But I'm not able to get a single speaker physical mute from the ARC USB in Atmos configuration, and it is a shame in 2024... More exactly, not enough speakers physical switches...

For now, I'm only able to assign Mute groups and they are only 4 of them.

I'd like to be able to get physical switches to independently mute all my speakers from my Arc USB, for example :
L, R, C, Sub, Lss, Rss, Lrs, Rrs, Ltf, Rtf, Ltr, Rtr

I know that I should be able to do that via a midi command, but hey the Arc USB is a Midi remote !

Could you please consider to add the ability to mute a single output to the Arc USB mapping on the next release

Thanks

Snap 1 to Snap 8 gives 8 snapshots, 8 different mute configuration

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

This kind of feature set is planned for an upcoming TM FX to finalize the already existing RoomEQ functionality.

This is great news!
Maybe you also want to consider a shift key for the ARC USB. This way each button could have two functions and existing functions like headphone volumes, talkback, mono, dim could work alongside the bespoken (and very useful) muting of individual loudspeakers in a typical 12 speaker Atmos configuration, without running out of buttons.
