Topic: Latest driver ver. 0.9840 showing different version in Settings window

Hi,

I have the RME FireFace UFX II (Rev. A).

After updating to the latest driver ver. 0.9840 , when opening the "MADIface Series Settings" "About" -window it stills says ver. 0.9833 ?? However, in Windows "Add / Remove Programs" the correct version (0.9840) is displayed. Just wondering if something went wrong when I updated the driver or is this a "known issue" with the latest driver update? Could anyone confirm, please?

My system:
Windows 11 Pro x64 (always up to date), Intel Core i7 13700F, 16GB RAM, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 4060 Ti.

Did you reboot the OS?

Did you reboot after installation? The Settings dialog does show 0.9840.

Yes, I rebooted after installing the new driver.
Now, after rebooting the computer for the second time, the correct version is displayed.!? yikes
