RME User Forum → TotalMix FX → Mismatch between TotalMix and hardware settings?
Since the last updates, upon waking the computer from sleep, TotalMix will say there is a mismatch between the hardware settings and TotalMix, even if nothing has been changed.
It's only the two dialog boxes, nothing major, but shouldn't it only happen when there is an actual mismatch?

Do you use TotalMix workspaces and/or snapshots stored somewhere in your user folder? And have you ever stored one or multiple configurations to the UCX II to use it in standalone mode?
Go once to the TM preferences and verify the setting you have under 'device handling': 'always init DSP…' checked on or off?

I do use snapshots, yes. I have never used the UCXII in standalone mode, and not stored any such configs.
'device handling' : 'always init DSP' ...not checked, so off.
Anyway, I'm going out of town for a week or two tonight, so this will have to wait until I get back.

V43 is USB. The firmware update tool with USB43 first included DSP 26, meanwhile (matching the latest TM FX) 34. So when you write '43' no one knows if you have the latest firmware or not.
